Mainly used for recovering stuff or hacking.
Im not mmuch of a Linux fan but if you get used to the layout it is better than windows. No Crashin no virus and no blue screens.
But basically nothing is compatible with it.
Anyways, its worth a try and you can run it live without installing it.
I suggest you try it out.
